Pip Thimble

A nervous little roden, who has taken it upon herself to shoulder a great burden.

Pip loves pine nut soup and lives with her grandfather, Hawthorn. She attempts to be kind, but grows increasingly closed off as she gets older.

Hawthorn Thimble

Pip's grandfather. He became her carer when she was barely three, when her parents vanished in the Forever Reaching Forest.

He is part of the Cartography Society, a group of roden who strive to find the secrets of the forests.

Oats

Pip's loyal gladehopper. He is her mount and her best friend; helping her to travel through the dense forest.

Oats belonged to Pip's mother, so Pip has known him her whole life. She finds a lot of comfort confiding in her four-legged friend.
