Small Beginnings...

A timid creature rides off into the night with her trusted mount as her only companion. She's is afraid but willing to take on the burden of the task ahead of her. The forest world that she lives in is a forever expanding maze of dense trees and giant creatures, all of which she must traverse to meet her goal.

Along the way she must face dangers, make tough choices and find the door to a long forgotten place in order to do, what must be, the right thing. Is Pip doing the right thing?

About Small

The story revolves around Pip Thimble, a small creature in a world of a forever growing forest biome. She is part of a civilisation of small mouse like creatures called "Roden". They are some of the smallest dwellers in the forest, so it can be particularly dangerous for them to simply exist.

Pip takes on a seemingly impossible task as she is so sure that in completing this it'll return her life back into the peaceful one she once had with her and her grandfather. Can Pip make the impossible possible?

About The Artists

Small is made by me (SillyStell) with the font used in the speech bubbles created by WillWivell (he has nice handwriting).

The comic itself was started quite sometime ago when I was dealing with something pretty heavy. It was making good traction until the covid pandemic hit in which all my motivation (and mental health) dropped. I have since gotten back into working on it again and I hope to continue to feel inspired to see it through to the end. I find it a lot of fun and I enjoy the characters!

It's a big learning curve as I was never trained to make comics, I'm a fulltime 2D animator for television as my day job. I'm trying to stay humble and I ask for help from good friends when I can who are a bit more experienced. I'm very thankful for them!
